god of war and rdr2 are both awesome in their own genre and both deserve goty
press X to doubt
Detroit become human and darksiders 3 were great but they received some unexpectedly negative reviews from the critics
god of war's sound track was so good that I listened to the album for more than 10 times while i usually don't listen to non vocal musics
no matter what will happen, I will always prefer single player games because that's the way i grew up
I can't believe god of war really won I thought rdr2 will win but deep in my heart i wanted gow to win, because gow kinda revived story driven single player games and it was absolutely the best game i experienced in 2018 sure rdr2 has a lot of innovations and it's really a great game but God of War won the goty award and cory barlog and his amazing team well deserved it.
A lot of people might disagree with me but the best game I've ever played is mafia 2 even though I have played a lot of games after finishing mafia 2, still none of them felt as good as mafia 2 for me it had an unique 50s atmosphere with a touching story and exciting missions. it had some issues on paper. but I just don't know why I love it so much. even after playing through it for 6 times i still wanna play it again. here are top 5 games i've ever played:
1-mafia 2
mafia 3 was terrible at launch specially the pc version
any rating below 9 is unacceptable for Detroit become human, the most underrated 2018 game imo
this game's production was rushed, Bethesda isn't the good old publisher we knew
that's what you get for making one of the best story driven series into a trash "online service" fallout 76 is simply a very bad fallout 4 add on with a 60$ price tag. i wish they made a story dlc instead.
I don't know why a lot of people complain about rdr2's controls. the controls are realistic and smooth imo.
god of war had the best story, artistic design and direction but i think rdr2 is better overall because rockstar set a lot of new standards for video games the details of rdr2's vast world is unprecedented while god of war is an amazing game in every aspect and deserves to be goty, it still uses different elements that we had already experienced in other games but rdr2 is a completely new experience. so i choose rdr2 although it's a very hard choice between these two.
the last of us didn't won goty in game awards instead in 2013 grand theft auto 5 was the winner
i kinda agree, even though we all know rdr2 is bigger and more creative still god of war feels better
keep playing and exploring, the game has a slow pace but it gets better when you proceed with the story and face new missions and challenges
my opinion:
1-rdr2
2-god of war
3-spiderman
4-detroit
5-ac odyssey
gow must definitely get the best story and the best music award, but rdr2 is a little better overally it's hard choice though.
forza horizon 4 and soul calibur 6 are also great in their own genre
RDR2 exceeded all my expectations i have only played about 10% of the game but damn it is amazing. i had never experienced so much detail and debt in a video game like rdr2 it's world is huge it's story is interesting and serious (despite gta v) and you don't feel time passing because you feel you are really part of the game's world. what else do you want from an open world game?
Battlefield has lost its identity that's why bf5 is doomed, instead of sticking to things that made bf special (realistic battles and weapons -serious and dark atmosphere and historical accuracy) they made a game that has too saturated and colorful graphics (to appeal to fortnite kids), soldiers with weird childish customs and unrealistic gameplay
of course it fails.
after their stupid denuvo and drm failed, they're gonna make all of their games require internet connection.
this is a big mistake! not only this won't make pirates buy their games it also makes most people not buy their games.
i liked the first game but i will never buy an online only game, i had enough issues with nfs 2015
