The thing is while the hardware sells amazingly, the same cannot be said for the software. It is true with Wii third party games would sell more if they were games we cared about, however the amount of shovelware saturates the market.
MS will soon realise that Kinect may be a financial success but it won't be so much on the software because casuals don't care about games.
I don't even have Kinect so this isn't news for me.
I want core games.
I really like the touch screen controls in this. Although really DOA was always easier to play than SF.
Either way can't wait for this.
I agree he is passing this off as fact a bit much when it is opinionated. But I do believe you are selling 3DS short here.
Nintendo have a good balance of games that are new editions of games for their core fanbase. And I would love to see where the ports are because as far as I can tell Ocarina of time is a REMAKE. It has content not found in the original and it has increased frame rate and graphics.
Its like saying that Resident Evil revival just announced...
I personally agree Nintendo make the best exclusives. Although I have to wonder where this "taking back the throne" is coming from.
Nintendo always sat on the thrown and the chances are very high 3DS will still sell.
A killer instinct character would be awesome.
Where did bringing it out in 1 year come from?
Is this supposed to be the original one they promised as they were removing features?
If you want to play Nintendo games get Nintendo consoles. Sorry to tell people this but Nintendo is in this industry as much as MS or Sony.
I wish I had his job. I could make a lot of money talking out of my backside as well.
Seriously he has plenty of weaknesses.
But now they are only going to find other ways cheat.
Great news. Get that shovelware away from my 3DS. I seriously hope third parties take this more seriously than they did Wii.
Hopefully Namco give us some Soul Calibur and Tekken.
It could be Left 4 Dead 3. Good for Valve for finally getting to grips with PS3. Now more people can enjoy their games.
Its perfectly understandable. I think companies have more important things to think about then video games atm over there.
If MS shut down Rare Nintendo would probably end up buying them because regardless of where the developers went Banjo, Conker, Perfect Dark etc are all seen as Nintendo's games by a lot of people.
It was Nintendo that made Rare what they were and it was their touch that made them stand out. It was clear the second Grabbed By the Ghoulies came out.
I'm more than ready for a new Nintendo system. The others? Not so much.
Its nice to see some great third party games there. I would seriously have put Dead or Alive Dimensions on it. It is one of the best looking (aside from MGS and RE) but I kind of feel sorry for it because people will probably overlook it due to Street Fighter. Both are great fighters and I will buy both.
I really hope this support continues because Nintendo will only keep giving and having other great games to go with them could make 3DS one of Nintendo's best gaming devi...
I agree. It will actually harder for Microsoft to differentiate it from 360 as well because it could just have what PS3/360 have with better graphics.
MS needs a really good lineup for me to buy one. I think 2013 is around a good point.
You are comparing a third person adventure/shooter to RPGs?
It makes you think what really goes in another castle.
