I'm getting both, already have the 3DS version but I could understand why, not much differentiating the two games.

The facts are that this hasn't been happening with a ton of Wii U games in Japan so the chances of this happening for a third party games are slim to none when MK8 can't even sell as good in Japan anymore.

Amazes me people say MK8 really did much in Japan, did people forget that it had a slightly higher peak than this this? It only moved 19k units and after that it dropped down to 9k then to 8k in a matter of weeks, until now with the release of Hyrule Warriors it had not been increasing but dropping right after the release of MK8.
Remind me how that is good when the Wii held numbers monthly almost 9-10 times higher than what the Wii U is selling now in Japan.

Actually that isn't correct, technically an application by definition is program or piece of software that would be written within a video game, using a computer or something of the sort to display the image. So it actually is a separate thing.

The PS4 is actually 50% more powerful, the problem is when you're talking about computers, 50% isn't some magically huge difference but it's clearly enough. The PS4 trumps the Xbox One in every department by fairly significant margins when your talking about hardware.

It isn't, if you read the comments and yes I know the description is a bit confusing, it is on PC but it is set in line to what the Wii U would be able to achieve in terms of the Wii U's specifications.
