I fully agree with this review. The game is decent, but for it to have been perfect, all Bioware would've had to do was improve the driving and combat controls. That's it.
In comparison to ME1, or even Dragon Age for that matter, ME2 came across to me as very mediocre.
Sure, Forza may not look as good as GT5 will, but looks =/= simulation. Which is why for now I'd go for Forza over GT5. Turn10 could have upped the poly count and make each car handle the same, or they could do what they did, vastly improve the physics system and notably improve the graphical output.
In layman terms for those unable to understand, I'd rather have an average looking clever chick than a ditzy blonde with as much functioning brain matter as, and equal IQ to, a germa...
F**k yes! Spinal Tap content for Rock Band :D
I like how the vast majority of people that have replied to this post have completely missed the fact that the opening statement, "the Xbox 360 is arguably the most advanced gaming system of all time" reeks of sarcasm.
I'm a 360 owner (disclaimer: not a fanboy, the PS3 is awesome, I just can't justify buying one. Not yet anyway.) and I recently bought a PSP with GOW: Chains of Olympus; I think I've found a reason to get a PS3 now.
If you're American, that has to be the most ironic statement I've seen or heard this year.
Hah, installs. 5GB is nothing, look at COD4 sitting on my drive at 7.1GB. Totally worth it though, damn 360 sounds like it'll take off any second.
@baodeus
I've played the game all the way through, done most of the side quests, put in 30 or so hours into the game, and I left it feeling bitter. Other than the improved controls, there's nothing new or good about the new game. The mining minigame was a pain, because you HAD to mine to get upgrades. In ME1, upgrades were as simple as killing things and opening chests.
The setpieces were dire. As soon as you saw 3 waist high crates, unless you had the IQ of a jellyfish you knew...
