CaulkSlap is right. Ipad has a retina 2048×1536p and alot of new Android tablets, don't know why we should be set a 1080p for gaming.
Usage on the other cards looks normal (660 and 7870) but for the others it just eats it up. I saw in a forum from a Titan user that it gobbled 5GB on that resoluton-settings LOL.

The GTX690 is a dual gpu card on a single PCB not SLI. Your stuttering issues are probably either from not setting vsync on (as you have higher fps than 60) and your monitor probably being 60hz.
