Xbox 1 is not powerful than the Wii U, they are similar in specs.
All 3 next gen consoles has approximately equivalent CPUs
Last gen CPUs @ 3.2ghz > next gen 1.6ghz.
This is becos, the cpu is less essential on next gen consoles as more powerful gpgpu (general purpose gpu) can run both cpu and gpu task simultaneously.

Another point to revive the dieing Wii U is to use patches (update) so it can play blu-ray movie or dvds.
