the starting price of the 3080 series is 4x that of the PS5 so what's the point of them boasting about it's power advantage over the PS5?

LOL cry more! TLOU2 is game of the year and one of the best games ever made, not just this generation. If anything Mario Odyssey is the game that should be taken off the list. Extremely overrated game. It comes nowhere close to the other masterpiece 3D Mario games.

I'm not buying another Ubisoft game until they create new engines that take complete advantage of the next-gen consoles. Their character models look so outdated. Look at WD Legion and AC Valhalla. Those character models look atrocious smh
Im actually shocked it wasn't all Japanese games with 8 of them being Nintendo titles. As a Western gamer we can't really be offended by their taste.
I was able to pick Nov 10 for my PS5 pre-order! So I guess I'm getting it 2 days early!!
Just to clarify, the next gen consoles are running the game as backward compatibility of their respective current gen consoles without a patch. It runs at native 4K on XSX because the X1X version runs it at dynamic resolution UP TO NATIVE 4K while the PS4 Pro runs it at dynamic resolution UP TO 1800p. So without a patch the PS5 version can't go any further than 1800p, not because it isn't capable.
I have yet to hear anything positive about next-gen games performance on the XSX. Only positive reviews so far have been about BC games. Hopefully things aren't as bad as they seem, for competition sake.
The crunch is going to be used for bugs fixing. I'm still skeptical tho. I think regardless of whatever patch we get day one its still going to take a while for them to iron everything out!

The dude who wrote this article has a long twitter thread slandering Microsoft's decision behind the Series S while quoting a bunch of different developers who are also unhappy about the Series S. They're claiming that it will cause them to do extra work and the RAM might end up being a bottleneck
