The first halo essentially "evolved" the FPS genre, and the sci-fi setting for one. I have nothing against it.

Final fantasy too, is not what it once was. XIII could have been much better. Every family in the US is familiar with Nintendo, the DS and the Wii, and all the iconic characters. Nintendo didn't fail the wii, the wii is still do an incredible job and has countless game sales. however Nintendo failed the hardcore on the wii. How long has it taken for some hardcore nintendo titles? hmm... At least FINALY this year i'll get my metroid, Zelda, and this month, my real mario game. But its been way too long...
Nintendo is just upset that products and move are going to make an impact in their sales....MAYBE. Also, Nintendo kind of revolutionized motion control in modern day gaming, so im going to guess what he meant by "copy" was, "hey, this is our gimmick!"
