I see kinect as the future of interface navigation, not of gaming.
I honestly not a big fan of the "you are the controller" idea with it, but the whole concept of swiping and pinching the air, no remote to navigate UI and operate a TV or other electronic devices seems SOOOOO cool.

Has always been under scrutiny for their environmental practices, mostly because they don't really recycle anything. Sony is a better, more experienced compony when it comes to good environmental practices, but that doesn't make Nintendo the worst compony in this subject. There are much worse technology companies on the environment.
I like apple for the way they push accessible consumer technology. But they don't quite have the influence over the tech market like Sony
