I disagree with the vote on the story.
I played the first part of the game focusing only on the campaign and this helps me to appreciate the story itself
it's pretty nice. Nothing mind blowing, but not so bad after all.
I mean, there are a lot of stuff all around the city and all these "distractions" just doesn't help to keep the focus on the campaign.
Anyway your review is well written and looks like you really played the game....

I tried this game several times. It's not scary at my eyes, but probably it's one of the best game I've played at the E3.
In few words, I think this game is pretty awesome.

The review is good, but I can't disagree more with your score. I know, your "scale" is more like : 6 = sufficient, but without the scores your review sound more like: go buy this game!
It's a matter of perception and in these days, a 6 is a terrible score!
I mean, if I will got a 6 as score in a test I would be *really* disappointed!

I need to (partially) disagree with you since we had a very intense and fun co-op experience, so I have some good memories of this game.
This game is one of the few that really test a bit your skills with a well done shooting mechanics.
Also, I totally loved the mood and the art-style of the game!
To be honest I haven't play the single campaign, so I cannot judge the rest of your (pretty interesting) review !

I really hate this game because there is no party system, is broken everywhere and I hate the battlepacks (it's a really stupid things).
I love this game (Bf4) because the maps and the whole games (speaking about the gameplay, weapons, unlock, etc) is better than Bf3.
So ... I agree with your (harsh) review and with your scores, but sadly this game, when it works, it's amazing ...

Talking about the gameplay, this game feel too "old" gen for my taste.
