Good question, but i think theres nothing confirmed yet. I also hope it gets out of japan faster then yakuza 2 did. I just loved Yakuza 1, so i cant wait to play the 2nd and 3rd too.
They have already confirmed Yakuza 2 for US. Maybe for the 1st quarter of 2008.
I also cant way, i loved the 1st Yakuza.

Im totally with you mate, its a shame that only games with grenades and shotguns calls the attention of the wester players. Yakuza 1 was a great game and got great reviews and unfortunately sold like s*** outside japan, thats the reason Yakuza 2 never been released here.
Western player are very close minded and only see guns and FPS that are all the same.
It plays alot like Shenmue, some ppl also found Shenmue boring and for me its one of my favorite games of all time.
Well i loved the 1st one. The 2nd never played because it never been released outside japan, and i hope Yakuza 3 at least gets released overseas.

I'm sure this game will be big in Japan, but for the western countries I'm not that sure. I find it very relaxing, and if i had a Wii, i would get this one for sure.

Yeah, Yakuza 1 had some great fighting moments but the strong point was the story that i just loved. I also loved the free roaming and mini games.
