To be honest DC wasn't an incomplete game at launch. Its trouble was mainly tied to the online, the missing PS+ edition and a couple of gameplay mechanics.
Driveclub simply over delivered post launch ...
I will never forget the deep ignorance of some journalists toward this game (some of them with a *real* agenda)
SFV has more issues (no vs CPU, short story mode, online, etc) than DC at launch.

I'm not a parent, so I can't really understand the real feeling to play videogames with a son/daughter, but somehow I can sense that is something special.
I mean, realistically, not so many parents play videogames with their children and I think this is a shame, especially in these years, where a 30/40 yo mother/father may *really* know what a videogames is.
