Regardless of power, COD looks exactly the same as it did in the previous gen. Both consoles are capable of running this game at 1080p @ 60fps.
Yes the PS4 is more powerful, but that does not mean the Xbox One is weak by any means (just the weaker of the two)
I don't see any other reason, other than poor optimisation and development as to why this has happened.
Why are consoles carrying getting the hate for lazy developers who want to mil...
I would not mind the resolution issue if the game did not look so last gen. Being honest I'm sure there would be an obvious difference if 360/PS3 where side by side with X1/PS4, but watching the next gen footage as stand alone videos, nothing jumps out to make me think it is not ps3/360 footage.
This is the first generation of consoles, I am not really excited about rushing out and buy on day one, all my mates are getting X1, so my hand is a little forced, but I'm st...
I don't mean this as a criticism or sarcastically, but technology is at a point where the vision set by the RDI Halcyon is coming into fruition in the form of Xbox One (at least from a motion control and voice command perspective).
Kudos to the people who created the RDI Halcyon, truly a concept way ahead of its time.
I loved Jade Empire, it was an awesome game, I found it much more interesting than Dragon Age. I would have loved to play a Trilogy of Jade Empire with a somewhat similar Mass Effect system where we could carry the same character over the series.

I think Sony would be being dishonest if they said it was never on the table. Sony have played it smart and formed a strategy Tywin Lannister would be proud of :P. To be honest, the whole console war at the moment feels like a George R. R. Martin plot i.e. Game of Thrones.
The funny thing is, because Sony had foresight, we as gamers will never know what we may have lost from Sonys console due to them scrapping DRM because they were smart and finalised their policy before anno...
MS could have saved themselves a lot of headache if they had took notice of gamer reactions when their policy leaked months ago. They could have sorted all this before the revival and pretty much could have done what Sony did.
Anyone with half a brain will know Sony was on the same path as MS in terms of DRM, but to its credit had the intelligence to notice gamers reactions early and change policy to suit.
From my understanding there is no reason why the 10 friends sharing is still not an option, all the disk should do is act a verification offline and if the console is plugged in use a non-mandatory scan to verify ownership i.e. if the game is used off line it needs to be in the drive.
I don't think the price is justified, especially since most gamers don't want the TV features or the kinect which are clearly pushing the price up.
Quick question, where was the PS4?
Behave!!! hes just clearly having a bit of boisterous banter that goes on every day between most groups of friends. Clear his is not to everyones taste, but I though he was funny and was not attempting to be serious or taken serious in the slightest.
Some gamers and feminists need to put down the pad, change the flannel shirts, remove the ham packed between their mattresses and go outside, there is a big world of humor out there, Jesus people need to lighten up
Where did I say it was easy? The game IMO is a run and gun, but not that much of it goes on, the common tactic seems to be Vets camp and noobs run around until they catch on, to me that is not fun.
The game in my opinion is one of the worst COD games released this gen and the trailer totally miss represents what the game is really like.
The maps are small and overcrowded, the kills are the cheapest i have ever seen, the game lags like hell, the assault vs su...
I thought the commercial was the best thing about COD, it actually gives the impression COD is a fun game to play.
However in reality if they wanted to create a real representation of COD in the commercial, The Vet (Sam Worthington) would be squatted in the corner, with a grenade launcher, constantly killing the re-spawning noob (Jonah Hill), who will eventually become a Vet as soon as he figures out how to install an aim bot.
and
I don'...
This article was pointless.
Treating people equally and treating people the same is not necessarily the same thing. Equality means treating people in a way that is appropriate for their needs (learn the difference).
For example, a disabled guy needs to get to the top floor of a building, telling him to use the SAME stairs as everyone else is no good, he or she (don't want to be sexist) needs a way of getting to the top floor that would suit the needs of everybody without embarrassing him or treating...
That was a terrible read, Please don't make me go back mummy :P
Do the high-res textures carry over to multi-player or are they just for single campaign?
So basically if you are an idiot and never changed your passwords after the hack, you have only got yourself to blame :P
I have a 50mb internet connection on virgin media, my connection is fine.
I signed up for Onlive last weekend and had a go of a few demos on the service, I thought the games looked and ran terrible, plus the service has some very suspect terms and conditions, such as they may charge you to access the service at a later date and you can only access the games as long as Onlive supports them.
1. What if I buy 3 or 4 games at £30+ now and then they decide to charge a £15 monthly subscription to access them? I payed full price for them I should...
It's only been since consoles had internet connections that things have gone downhill. My Nes, Super Nes, Master System, Mega Drive, Playstation, Saturn and N64 all worked right out of the box no problems and never once needed n update.
The internet has just given companies the excuse to rush out unfinished products to morons who think it's some kind of thing that needs to be accepted. Console updates seemed to be spearheaded by the Xbox and PS2, People seem to forget...
