I agree wholeheartedly.

With the way Nintendo systems sell during the Holidays, the 3DS may hit 5 million before the end of December
So far, my top 5 are (in no order):
Dream Drop Distance
Uprising
Revelations
Heroes of Ruin
Luigi's Mansion
2012 is already looking to be sweet.
Xenoblade is 1st party
But how could they have put CoM on the PSP/PSV if neither of those handhelds existed back when the GBA was still relevant?
Oh and PSP and PSV counts as two separate platforms.
MKDS even though snakers ruined the online aspect.
The "Missions" component just put that MK on a level above every other MK for me. Plus, the blue shell isn't anywhere near as annoying.
This is the reason why I still want a Wii. Only for this game.
Agree with both of the comments above me.
Only to fanboys
The blue shell has only detracted from my experience in one MK game and that was MK Wii. The third lap is literally a lap of suicide if you're in first, as you will constantly be hit with blue shell after blue shell after blue shell with an occasional lightning powerup to mix it up. It made it very frustrating to play that damn game.
If the blue shell is as consistent as it was in MKDS, then I'll have no complaints.
I don't care for the score to be honest, but the entire review is highly unprofessional. I don't care if that guy claims to have played MK64 til he was blue in the face, he clearly did not want to review that game, and you can tell from the tone and lack of information in his entire review.
It's a goddamn shame that these paid journalists can't even match the objective analysis and overall quality of amateur blog reviewers and forum users. Goddamn shame I sa...
I mean, you can make them into your media hub, but if you have an above average PC at your disposal it would be pointless to make either one the media hub.
I'm not trying to start anything either, just giving my opinion.
Another day, another boring dull flame bait article.
The quality of gaming journalism has really fallen over these past 5-7 years.
This is what's wrong with gamers these days. They want every damn game to have a story just for the sake of it even when the game doesn't need it.
What next, you're going to want a riveting engaging story in PopCap games too?
tl;dr
When was PETA ever NOT considered an excessive joke?
Because a smartphone has more functionality than a dedicated handheld, which in turn means it has more uses?
Or how about the fact that damn near all of us who post here use computers way more than our gaming systems. Does that mean the PS3/360/Wii and future consoles are doomed??

Nintendo has supposedly found a way to run the 3D effect more efficiently, so the hit on battery performance may not be as steep as we believe.
That is, if these rumors are true at all.
And people use their laptops/PCs more than their consoles. Doesn't mean console gaming is and should become extinct.
