that's what i did when my 360 broke, and trust me, i don't regret it at all!
i just plug the 360 controller and have the same experience as if i were playing on a console, but with WAY better graphics =)

i'm a xbox360 fan, and agree 100% with him
i always feared turning my 360 on, and never played for more than 2 hours straight, due to the overheating problem. it really sucks.
after 2 years my xbox broke and i bought a high end PC, that i can play for endless hours without worries that it may explode
