It'll be $15. Comparing the two isn't going to work, two completely different games. For what it's worth though, Limbo is pretty much on my top 5 games of last year whereas Outland is a lot of fun, but not as memorable.

I never had a PS2 and I started on the Genesis/SNES =]

I like how Gears is included in there when Uncharted has had more games out in less of a time frame than Gears. Resistance is at the same pace. Both inFamous and LBP have produced sequels in the same amount of time as Gears goes between games. And, well... let's not get into Ratchet and Clank.

Bubble up. Couldn't have said it better.

Exactly. This was the difference between "venomous" and "negative."

I wish more people would read in between the lines. Redner explicitly said that it wasn't the negativity that peeved him, it was the tone. The fact is, you can read a ton of Duke reviews and many will be plagued with that underlying feeling that the reviewer is egging at it more because of the legacy behind the game. Which is not okay.

Not at all. There's a difference between journalism to a point with your facts in line before you rip someone apart and journalism with a change of words before you rip someone apart.

If you support people changing other people's words around to cause more controversy, more power to you.

Absolutely nothing wrong with journalism. Nothing wrong with reviews either. I didn't say anything against either in the article.

Regardless what you think, Duke fans have waited this long to play their game. Gearbox understood that. The fact that you would even put the words "fast cash grab" in the same discussion as Duke Nukem Forever astounds me. Gearbox polished what they could, finished it, and shipped it.

Even though the game is getting slammed, I'm very happy for the Duke fans out there finally getting to play it.

It's simple, they WERE perfectionists.

Every time they'd approach a release a new engine or something would emerge and they would scrap everything and start over. Rather than release what they had then and enjoy the success of the Duke branding at the time.

If you take too long, your expectations get too high and you'll never hit them. If you spit out the game too early, you'll be hit with fans claiming you're milking the series.

I enjoy everyone at IGN, but Hilary along with the rest of the old Three Red Lights crew is what really got me into everyone there.

I wish him the best of luck on his future endeavors.

A heavy reason why 360s are still selling is because you go to the console all of your friends have. Sure, exclusives matter to you and me, but to the guy down the street who just wants to play some Madden or Call of Duty, it depends on what his friends have.

More so than not, 360 version sells better on multiplatform games, I don't get the news here. Guaranteed to show the same result when it's released in America tomorrow.

The Wii actually supported up to 5 players on certain Virtual Console games like Bomberman 93'.

Which is why now's a better time than ever to voice what we don't like. Otherwise it won't change.

5378d ago 4 agree1 disagreeView comment

Cool. Each game has a different page. This certainly isn't for my convenience. If you're going to milk me for views, at least use only 2 MAYBE 3 pages. Jesus.

Now... before you make your irrational claims, did the same reviewer rate all of those games? Or are you ignorantly assuming that every outlet rates every game on the same mind?

I understand if you don't like their reviews, that's fine. If you're going to make stupid claims like how they work there to be journalists first (which by the way, notice how hard it is to make your way on to the editorial team there) or how because Duke scores a 5.5 means it is worse tha...

That's why you should always look at multiple reviews. I bought Zack and Wiki because of them and didn't like it. Doesn't mean I discredit them. It means I should do more research on game reviews.

Please, no.

I like my PSP, but no UMD support. It'll make it too bulky. Find a way for me to convert my old UMDs to a digital format instead. I'll be even happier with that.

The design needs some fixing. More tablets need to be able to be connected to the Wii U (rather than just the speculated one). The price needs to be decent. If all of those are addressed, consider me sold, Nintendo. Or... err... well sold BEFORE Smash Bros. comes out...
