More ram is good, but faster ram is better. I'd rather have 8 gigs of ram running at 2133 rather than 16gigs running at 1666. Also, low latency is win.
I was at the tip of the "diving board" about to go out and buy it, but after seeing the problems littering the launch, I feel it's best to wait till e3, to see what Microsoft and Sony has in store. I really, only want to own 1 console this gen and go with that + PC, but there is room for 2 if the experiences differ greatly.

J/K, but it's going to be interesting when they reveal the installation method of such a huge and ambitious game like GTAV.
The emulators that play PS1 and PS2 games are great indeed, but take up more computing power than the actual consoles had, just to run the games.
Either way, imo, it would be costly to put Backwards compatibility into the PS4.
Sony should move forward and just worry about current gen games(PS4).
The only sad thing about this, to me, is that the "HD remasters, remakes" have usually been sub-par, but Sony's ability to raise fidelity of their older ...
Touche. The PS3 could be the first gaming console to run 3 generations of games,spanning almost 20 years, though. I felt spoiled when I first got my PS3 when it had just come out.

Well, damn. CoD gets to ride a 9 while a great game like Halo 4 gets a 7?
Color me pissed off. I'm not even a Halo fan,but I've played this game recently (review copy) and thought it was a 9 easily.
Graphics, sound, presentation and gameplay were all great and felt a little more fluid compared to past Halo games.

Nah. Most PC's run a standard 2-4 gigs of ram. You're probably talking about mobos. Lot's of new mobos these days offer support up to 32gb's of ram, some, even 64 gbs of ram.
