TBH, I really hope Microsoft wises up and focuses on the core. Maybe the casual audience they're focusing on right now is just because they feel thats what will make them the most money, going into next-gen.
They could repeat the cycle and go fierce as next-gen kicks off.
Games creation in itself, especially in it's current state is smoke and mirrors anyway.

Game is not even finished yet. I remember reading how Killzone 2 looked bland and was missing details.. when the game in it's final state was revealed, it blew some minds and fanboys went straight to work trying to discredit it for what it was.

I would haveagreed with you, but then you said visuals.
Crysis 1 is the better game than 2, 3 looks more akin to 2, which I found dull after the first play through.
These games need more replay value than just MP.
MP seems to be an excuse to skimp out on the juicy story and content, shelved later for DLC, cash schemes.
Looking top upgrade to Haswell/Maxwell next year, as I'm going over my brainstorm for the next big upgrade, I'll probably sell this PC for 700-800 bucks, minus the hard drive.
Now, witth that said above, I'm going to pick up a PS4 pre-order the minute it goes live, I've got my phone with an alert that will tell me when, from Amazon and it's logged into Amazon too, so I can make that instant buy. 500 bucks is my budget.
