the game went gold with 720p in mind, I'm positive they can get the frame rate up, res up and improve textures as well as improve the lighting.
I'm being reasonable too. I know they can do it, it's Naughty Dog. They know how to squeeze out dat performance.
Just came back from the GAF thread.. I'm about to faint.

Bought the PS3 version without a PS3, borrowed a friends and platinumed it! This time I have a PS4 so TLOUR is going to be The Game I want for PS4, more than InfamousSS.
TLOU is my favorite console game of the ps3/xbox360/wii era.(2nd is Super Mario Galaxy)
Still waiting on Demon Souls 2. :)
Wrong. Your blood is always pumping.
I actually thought it'd boost' bone sales by 900-1.5mil.
That's with splashed ads in major cities, sponsored ads at major events, internet hype train and two of the biggest games publishers "making sure" it will succeed.
I'm surprised, actually.
@Below:
Right,Pandaboy. We have yet to get solid numbers from MS? I haven't seen any. I hadn't taken bundling into account and the price cuts on the game and...
Sound track is really cool.
Of course it is, it's called streaming. Duh. ;)
Stakeland was cheesy, but a very fun watch.
Gamers can be very cynical.
He didn't have to tell them a damned thing either.
It goes both ways,and before you try to play the "some one else would have came along" card, they didn't.
If you want to run off onto a tangent and work yourself up over it, then go nuts.
I will wait for the end result and reserve judgement until then.
They got several middle fingers from me after DS3.
They ruined my horror!
Easy as "flipping the switch" No?
Ugh. Dual card. No thanks, even if I had the cash to put down.
Depressing.
Silent Hill 1 and Castlevania Symphony of The Night in 1080p plz
I want some pancakes.
Hugh Jackman for Joel? I'd protest this in a heart beat.

I just hope we get closer to Ray Tracing in games with this. I've seen and read a lot of theoretical that blew my mind. I had to read up on physics a bit to fully grasp the concept though, which isn't really a concept, I suppose, but more so a hurdle, and dX12 could possibly help with jumping that hurdle.
@Gribb
Let's see if "Several other gameplay improvements" turns out to be something that addresses that.
I wouldn't mind 30fps with a visually dominating remastered version of the original. :)
