Microsoft fired the checkbook torpedos when no one was looking! I thought for sure it would go multi but anything is possible and going by Microsoft's words about gears not long ago, this does come as a minor surprise to me.
Lol. No.
Some of the insiders putting out info have done it for a long time. I found out through a gaffer that one guy who posts has been an insider since the days of gaming mags. I was like "really?!L" It really is a mecca for gaming info, NeoGAF. ;0
@True_Samurai
dat kettle
Morgan, that is probably the simplest way to explain both the X1 and PS4's approach to ram solution!
Based Cerny. As always.Carry on, People.
Even if they drop Kinect, it's already becoming a wide-known fact that the hardware is superior inside of the PS4 case.
What do you do to go against that? Despite Microsoft shaving an impressive markshare amount from Sony, Microsoft really blundered their launch and that sting resonated from May till now.
What I keep reading from people is that Microsoft didn't bring their all during the last 3 years of the 360's money-making lifespan, I didn'...
"Management has said it before and I will back it up, this is not a sprint -- it's a marathon. By E3 the true power of the Xbox One will be realized, make my words."
Ah! I think someone from Sony said this. Really?
The texture/hud mods still come out on top. I don't know why Capcom can't commission better "HD" than this.
Chicken gravy with crushed peppercorns!
Ps4. Gravy Awaits.
EA: Nintendo's a great partner
EA: *continues not making games for Nintendo*
and, lol. dat article pic
I really hope there is no exclusive Sh*t with this game. I plan on getting it on PC. Been following it for quite some time now and this is very high up on my "buy list".
I saw tons of footage of the game. I have intent on buying it after it's released so that I can get wind how the game as gold is. It'll be my first ORIGIN game if I end up buying it. :/
I saw this on GAF this morning. I put down 100 for the EARL edition reward. Large scale game looks like Kingdom of Heaven, Braveheart, Joan of Arc and so-on.
I hope we can spill boiling oil from the top of the castles, unto our foes trying to scale the walls!
"“Nintendo was dead to us very quickly,”
“It became a kids IP platform and we don’t really make games for kids. That was pretty true across the other labels too. Even the Mass Effect title on Wii U, which was a solid effort, could never do big business, and EA like Activision is only focused on games that can be big franchises”."
Well... That is something alright. But I don't think anyone here is surprised.
Let me know when a phone or tablet manufacturer puts out a device that can support the time sensitive gameplay that platformers like Super Mario World, Super Mario Bros. 2(JP) needs to play comfortably.
I die too much in SMW for SNES on my GS4 to have a good, relaxing time jumping through worlds.
On SM3 I die more, but I did beat it.. it took longer than I normally would though.
Sounds like they are copying Sony's approach towards the gamers. Not like it's a bad thing, but come on.. those boys didn't give a rats ass gamers existed until the huge backlash from those who know better, after the reveal of the X1.
They should test the waters by releasing Pokemon for tablets and smart phones. They would become money instead of making it.
Nintendo makes a lot of platformers, so that would be difficult to port. After Pokemon mobile's success, they should try Super Metroid then the GBA Metroids.
Mario is too difficult to play on a touch device, the sensitivity and accuracy for touch controls on a game that requires timed jumps and such, is just not here yet.
Disagree. You're not stupid. You just get ahead of yourself sometimes. +1 for the Gribs.
Guess not everyone thinks that way. I platinumed it on someone else's PS3. It's that good to me.
Beat it on all difficulties and I started a new game as soon as the credits were done and rewards were unlocked.
