Demon souls is not the hardest game this generation... I dont know how this isnt common knowledge by now. Going off its genera it's not even that impressive! Going off trophies and YGC for stats...
Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 (Beat Normal): 4,204 of 14,196 (29.61%)
Demon Souls (Game complete): 5,935 of 16,388 (36.22%)
going off .com
NGS2: 129 (35.44%) of 364 game owners.
DS: 199 (45.02%) of 442 game owners.
etc...
Everyone is different... some people said Spelunker was a horrible game for the same reason.
I'm going to laugh when people get Rockman Dash 3 and then trash/bitch about how bad it is.
I really hope this is false... I am still pulling for a Snow Pirate Y_Y
Capcom offers a demo for cash = people complain
Capcom puts RMD3 on pending = people complain about the time it took
Capcom decides to cancel it resulting in us never having to pay for a demo = people complain
I wonder if people would complain if capcom gave it for free without any hassles... Well what am I thinking of course they would Y_Y
I disagree and thought the reasoning was rather poor. While the US artbook is different than japans; its still small in content. Also if this is ANYTHING like demon souls (same publisher) then the combo is basically moot. I remember every copy at Best Buy had a "artbook/ost included" sticker and when the game hit GOTY amazon reoffered the artbook/ost. This might be different, but honestly for a "preorder" item it was amazingly accessible to anyone.
Suppor...
F.3.A.R dropped because TRU had a B1G1 free sale. For whatever reason the game was offered for 30 on day 1. The people who wanted it got it like that and flippers gobbled up TONS of them causing the other markets to be flooded and the people who wanted it got it for less.
This is how I see it anyways...
These arguments should just go away as you gain nothing from picking irrelevant A = B situations.
These are fighting games and should be compared to OTHER FIGHTING GAMES (is this that hard to grasp?). When you look at Guilty Gear the other big fighting game last generation there were 7 on the ps2 (not counting isuka which was semi different) and even if you consider each updated version as low as 20 per thats a lot!
60 + 20 (80) + 20 (100) + 20 (120) + 20 (1...
This is actually nothing new, but slightly different. A lot of games (namely Sony titles) had an extremely similar tactic attached to it.
Preorder uncharted 3 and get uncharted 2 GOTY for 10.
Preorder god of war 3 get 10 usd off god of war collection
Buy white knight chronicles 2 and 1 is included on the disc
Buy (or was it preorder?) F3ar get Fear 2 free
I dont think this will be a up coming tactic though. A lot of games retain value ...
Believe it or not I am on the fence with them. One thing that always crushes my spirits is learning of a better way of doing something. Prime example would be the unlimited ammo in Red Faction (which I believe doesn't void the trophies) or things along those lines. They're helpful to many; though sometimes learning of the best method (which you're trying) will not help you AT ALL lol.
Game Republic shut down because their games were very niche. Not even all their games were released in the US (like dark mist which was fun) and such. If Sony or they would have hyped Folklore and brought coded soul over (which used FS) they could have stayed alive.
I would love to see this done away with mostly because 1 used sale =/= no profit. Lets look at Resistance because it's the topic at hand. I never played one or two and so my interest for three is nearly null....
White Knight Chronicles 2 in Japan had a pass for online that only worked on a Japanese account and would only let a Japanese account go online.
Thats the game.
Fun map for objectives, but horrible for TDM. SO MANY SNIPERS/CAMPERS Y_Y
Yes/no for me and adventure mode it's fun the first time, but it's short (unless it goes past where the beta ends) and the more you play; the less fun it is. Everything seemed to happen 1:1 with every other time I played... which will lead to people just memorizing and BLOWING past it.
Horde is what people call the modes in various games where you just fight enemies nearly endlessly.
Resident evil - the mercenaries.
Red Faction - Infestation.
Uncharted - Co Op Arena
etc
I agree and I bought the CE for the bag alone! It's a good size and highly portable. Theres not much marking on it so people will notice its a gaming item. Its got the mesh weve you would see in a jansport or other such popular back pack. There is a lightly padded shoulder strap and is lightly padded on the inside. You can remove the phone holder if you dont want it (in my case my phone doesnt fit) and looks just find after.
The Sly patch is actually very nice quality and...
odd art style @_@
I agree co op arena is very fun; same goes for plunder.
For a person named "logic wins" you would assume they would apply some logic here.
Demon Souls is a hack/slash title with precise planning.
Catherine is a puzzle/platformer with quick thinking.
Clearly skills in one directly transfers to the other...
