They can if they want to. The question is were those the REAL specs "accidentally" released to Giant Bomb? Was Sony trying to bluff MS? Did MS fall for it? I'm looking at what they sold an underpowered X1 for and now they have an absolute monster. Based on MS history what makes you think this will be less than $600 or $700? You honestly think they're gonna sell this to break even?

I think everyone is looking at this wrong. The X1 S is gonna sell just like the old one. Only the hardcore are gonna buy the Scorpio. Anyone thinking the Scorpio is gonna be priced reasonable have lost their mind. Very powerful machine with a very high price. Probably between $799 to 1k.
