I don't want to say this but my hype has lessened a bit... but it's still through the roof :P
The Scarecrow parts were the best bits in the first one I think.
Found it in 720p.

Sorry JellyJelly, I'm afraid you don't own a pair of Steelseries 5XB and Tritton isn't the name of Madcatz headsets, you're lying!
/sarcasm
I've got a pair of Tritton AX720s at the moment and I think they're great, can't fault them, may have to wait and see what the reviews are like for the 7.1 Gears headset, might be worth an upgrade, and they look cool too :P
If you've seen him play games then you'll know he has his controller right up to his face and he uses his chin to move the right analog stick, now it might just be me but it might be a little bit trickier for him to play with a keyboard and mouse...
I actually tried it yesterday and thought it was dreadful, absolutely dreadful.
Well it comes out in the UK next week so I have to wait a while to get my hands on it but I'm glad you're having fun with it!
I'm surprisingly looking forward to this, one of those games that is so bad that's it's a blast to play in co-op at least.
Personally, GTA IV bored me to death, it's pretty good fun with mods though.
Also better quality video here:

This sounds too good to be true, if this turns out well then colour me excited!
*looks at at TopWare Interactives history*... oh dear.
This is a pretty pointless update and these issues aren't exactly a priority to fix in my opinion. They could have put something worthwhile in the patch like, oh I don't know, access to that Yemen map that they've been holding off from us :(
Completely agree with you.
But that doesn't solve the issue, I would then just have to turn up the voice volume up even more to hear my friend and they would be ridiculously loud, just so I could hear both at the same time.
I don't see how you think it's a bad idea, if you do play your game audio through your TV then you can hear Uncharted TV far more easily rather than listening to your friends voices as well as Uncharted TV through your headset, especially if it's just a mono headset...
I meant listen to Uncharted TV and talk to people at the same time, if I wanted to do that before I'd have to turn up the voice volume which also turned up the Uncharted TV volume, having them both separate is a good idea in my opinion, and I haven't had an issue with the volume of Uncharted TV without a headset plugged in, sounds perfectly fine to me :S
Disagreed with you there, the first update makes the game more balanced and much more about skill rather than, for example, just stacking up loads of Smoke Bombs and fleeing every firefight if you get shot at first.
As for the Uncharted TV I wanted it coming through the TV output instead of the headset. I use a pair of Tritton AX720 headphones and trying to listen to Uncharted TV whilst talking to my friend sucked because I couldn't hear either of them properly because th...
While the tech they used was impressive I don't think the final result was all that great, the facial expressions were good but the negative side that I could see is that the textures on the faces were blurry and badly done.
I'd much rather have Red Dead Redemptions lip sync or Uncharteds just as a couple of examples, they both work really well, they're expressive, great textures on the faces that don't look out of place from the game world.
Looks awful... :|
He still is alone, this is just for challenge maps :)
Although I definitely had my doubts about Robin in this but he does look pretty awesome, he reminds me of Cole from inFamous quite a bit.
Nope, those are still in but I don't mind that they are, especially fast travel since you don't have to use it, levelling enemies is a nuisance but one I can live with. Skyrim looks incredible to me.
I feel the exact same way, I was pretty pumped up to try it out since I loved the last Duke games but this is just one badly made game... it made me die a little inside.
I'm thinking the 3D Sound Expander simulates surround sound rather than the headset actually pushing it through, I know that a few headsets do this as well. That's my theory anyway :P
