They might be from an old build, but even still Vigil fixed the screen tearing on the 360 version of DS1 with a quick patch.
Can't wait!
What about the PC version?
I'm going to break Ubisoft if they screw up the PC version.
I'll be getting Sleeping Dogs and Darksiders, pretty awesome month.
Pfffff, I've got 4 million copies pre-ordered.
I guess we'll just have to play the waiting game then, if I remember correctly they still have the old Windows interface as well don't they that you can switch at any point? If it still has it I may give it a try if it's enough of an improvement over Win7.
Any framerate increase in games? That's what I'm mostly interested in, Win7 for desktop performance is fine for me.
No one said it was new, it is however a feature that I am glad is back.
Don't think I'd ever see myself saying this but I don't think they should remove the co-op aspect... if it was forced onto you with an AI partner then yeah that would be awful but because it's completely optional and there isn't an AI partner I'm quite happy that it's there, just means I can go through it with a friend after I finish it on my own and have a different experience for better or worse.
Day one purchase...
I agree, it was immersive and it also looked really nice but it was soooooooooooooo boring!
Uncharted "wannabe" or not the game still looks really nice.
As long as it works with no problems, bugs and has a lot of graphics options to change then I'll be happy.
I agree, it does really make it less tense but I'm just glad on DS3 that if you aren't playing co-op then that guy won't be beside you like on RE5.
@Pixelsword: Lmao, that would actually be pretty funny.
This actually was a new IP called Black Lotus before Activisions greed came into play and wanted it to be called True Crime Hong Kong.
Yeah I agree, hoopefully the next one will be an improvement, really looking forward to The Last of Us though which I think is what the Uncharted 2 team started doing after they finished U2.
SNOW MAPS! :D
But is it me or did they only show off Bandar Desert and 1 or 2 snow maps?
The story (to me) felt like a re-hashed version of Uncharted 2's story, it felt all too familiar, I still love the first games though and the acting and characters are what makes the games... and the set pieces, can't forget about those.
I don't really like Half-life, could never get into it... *flame shield on*
