You could always be a cheapskate like me. I don't buy games until at least the first price drop. Usually I wait until the price is around 20 dollars. The last game I bought at full price was GTA 5. And only because I knew what I was in for.
If our government gets rid of net neutrality, you can kill on line gaming goodbye. The cost to download one game will make it not worth it.
Give it to a company that cares. I'm OK with that.
How much profit did EA make last year and this year? I have a feeling its hundreds of millions of dollars. The prices don't need to go up.
I would hold off excitement at this point. They said the DLC would be free, but these characters have to be bought with in game currency. And as we saw in the beta, you will have to grind for like 100 hours to get enough money to buy a character. Or you could just speed up by sending them your money. We all know what they want us to do.
This game failed because it was super obvious that it was put out a year early. Graphics were awful. Writting and acting were a joke. It should have stayed in development and it would have been a much better game.
Hopefully now that a major AAA title has finally paid the price for coming out too soon, other studios will start to pay attention and not put out any more games that are not finished. This is what happens when a quarterly profit is more important than a good product.
When is tomb raider getting cheap? I have been waiting over a year to play the dang game.
Might get this once all the dlc is out, and it goes on sale, and they patch it so I don't have to constantly be on line.
Yep, EA. We used to get many companies making many different games. Now we have EA, and they like to put out a game a year, quality or improvements be damned. Microtransactions here we come.
When it comes to COD, I think its burnout. 10 games in, and they are all pretty much the same. As far as Mass Effect, it was a game that was rushed out way before it was done, in order to make a fiscal quarter, instead of trying to be the best game it could be. Consumers are finally waking up and not accepting games that aren't done. That's why people are happy RDR2 is getting delayed. People would rather wait for a game that is done and actually QA tested.
I personally, can't wait to start flying heads of christofacists. Who cares what color they are.
What a dumb idea from Nintendo. They could have made money hand over fist for months if they would have made enough of these to meet the obvious demand. I was lucky enough to score one on day one after going to 3 stores at opening time. And with hackchi 2.whatever, I will never have to worry about playing any old school game I want. We all know if they come out with another model, they will work on making it much harder to hack, or it will have the ability to download old games. Glad I got on...
I have played all the Batman games, including Origins, which I enjoyed. Not sure why it gets all the hate. But I am done with the Batman games. This game doesn't sound like it is going to bring anything new. Its not giving you any new characters to play as. Still has Riddler tracks. Joker will be the villain again. Batmobile with guns and bombs. If I ever get the Batman itch, I will just play Asylum or City again.
I might get this game next year after its actually ready for release.
Isn't it obvious why? A 10 year old remaster that doesn't include every map? Forcing microtransactions in a game that they don't belong in? Can't buy just the remaster, have to spend 80 dollars to get a game that should cost 20 with everything included. A peak player base of 800 players.
