Played the demo yesterday and it's amazing.
I agree with pixel sword. The ps3 doesn't need any saving, it's doing just fine. Heck, it's doing just fine even without square-enix right now. It's a lame article made just to get hits.
It's about time. Valkyria Chronicles is one of the best games I've played last year.
Looks pretty awesome
I know that. But keep in mind that a lot of people still don't have internet connection or don't even care about the multiplayer component. Even if it's as much as 60% of the people who bought it went online, it would still be higher than said number in the article.
Yeah, some random fanboy is just looking over the comments and hitting disagrees. Whoever that is, get a life man.
The guy should go back to grade school. His "little mathematical research" isn't even close to being accurate at all. KZ2 had atleast 1.2 million pre-orders in Europe and the full month of NPD data isn't even released yet.
I also love how he just magically spawns those numbers (probably just from a week's worth of data) without even providing any sources.
Coming from HHG, it's not very surprising though. They seem to have a knack for posting atleast one gar...
I think I'll trust Guerrilla Games when they say it can't be done - they are the devs after all and are more believable than this "ex-bungie dev"
BTW, the title is pretty misleading. He doesn't confirm anything, it's just his opinion (which I'm willing to bet is quite wrong). He clearly states that he only works with the 360, so he can't exactly pass accurate judgment on a comparison when it comes to both systems' capabilities.
Agreed. I find it ridiculous that fanboys still think the ps3 needs any saving. 21 million install base (and counting) in 3 years with an already impressive exclusive library and even more impressive '09 line up means it's here to stay.
I rather doubt it. As previously stated, devs can only do so much with 7GB worth on a single disc. It's almost laughable when you compare it 50GB to be honest.
Definitely worth a buy. I love this game.
It's not lag. I find it more realistic and I adapted to it easily even after countless hours of playing CoD 4.
I seriously found no problems with the controls. Turning in actual combat is not instantaneous like in other shooters - I really like how GG incorporated yet another touch of realism in that regard.
Been playing online for 5 hours straight. Amazing game.
Echochrome is brilliant. It's a very unique game and if you're looking for something different, you won't be disappointed. Give the demo a try atleast.
Couldn't agree more.
Definitely agreed. The next Team ICO game was the biggest factor why I decided to buy a ps3.
I disagree. While I admit that initial support for the psp was anything but great, the recent big announcement at Destination Playstation (LBP, Assassin's Creed, Motorstorm for the psp) is reportedly only half what they have planned for the portable this fiscal year.
That and the fact that big third party games from Square Enix are coming this year like Dissidia and possibly KH: Birth by Sleep means there's still a lot left to the original psp (series).
I'm especiall...
Agreed.
Something like this could have happened (and I bet it has) to crazy owners of other systems. I just thought it was an interesting read.
Actually, I agree that they should take out the UMD on the inevitable "psp2." Though to be honest, it's not that bad of a format. I like the mini blu-ray disc idea, but I doubt Sony is even considering that right now due to the extra production cost something like that would bring to the table. (Atleast, I think they cost more than UMDs, but correct me if I'm wrong)
I think we're heading in the direction where digital distribution of software will become the norm as opp...
No biggy. I'm already satisfied with the amazing line up this year. Another great game saved for 2010 doesn't hurt.
