This doesn't matter. You'll never care about the platform of ppl that are playing with you.
If anything, it's a got a big downside, because you can't add ppl that you've bond with to your friends list if they're playing on another platform.
Furthermore, PS4 doesn't lack ppl on their MP. Xbox and Switch may lack, but that's they're problem. It's not Sony's job to populate other platform's player base.
