It is true for me in the UK. I've never had any trouble getting physical for cheaper. As for PC I was talking more along the lines of steam sales etc. Not emulation

Digital game prices are ridiculous on everything except PC. Physical games drop in price all the time and are generally cheaper anyway all you have to is not buy a game day 1 unless you are hard-core for it and get it cheaper later. Plus Nintendo are unique in the fact that outside of illegal means their first party games are only on their system. The switch 2 will do fine because the games Nintendo make to most are top tier.
