Yep after playing both alpha, beta I had no problems dropping a pre-order for this game.
Buying the game after enjoying the early preview play was an easy call for me.
The 5-6s being giving to the game suggests that it's broken and unplayable, but most of us know that's far from the truth. Personally I'd give the game a solid 8-9.
I don't trust reviews I trust myself to know what I like and don't like.

I've been doing all y'all said but it seems like the vanguard bar isn't moving an inch haha.
It's like torture I tell you lol.
Lvl25 warlock just at the door to 26, I'm trying to lvl up what legendary gear I have and get a complete set of the legendary.
I do have a question though, how in the hell do I build up my vanguard pts with the lead vanguards quicker because I'm lvl 1 and the bar is barely moving towards 2 lol?
Destiny isn't a big letdown for me since i'm loving it.
I immediately started playing on hard once the game was ready it's more fun that way solo or co-op with friends/randoms.
Also some strange things were happening to me while playing solo I'm lvl25, and I was almost killed by lvl11-12 mobs lol. Don't let the low lvls fool you lol.
Haha I know how you feel it was happening to me all weekend I had to be salty with my friends playing hahaha.
Dude you ain't lying me and a friend put in 15 hrs straight this past Saturday from 7:30 am to 10-11 pm lol.
Actually for me once I hit lvl 20 I get constant drops of green and blue orbs. Thank god I do because trying to lvl up legendary gear isn't easy lol.
Gotta break down those blues and greens to get what's needed lol.
Right now I have legendary helmet, and chest armor to go along with a handgun, sniper rifle, and pulse rifle.
Legendary isn't easy to come by and even when they say you've picked up a legendary orb it's no guarantee that you'll get a legendary.
I picked up 5 such orbs and only got one lol.
Word dude I love teaming up with friends and doing some of the crazy strike missions, nothing is better than seeing a well planned strike go totally to s**t because a quick death haha.
Lol yea I've been enjoying the hell out of this game and for me it's a solid 8-9 game. I know Bungie will continue to improve upon it as we go along.
This game is far from broken as these 6s reviews would suggest.

Like I said good on them, but ppl turning this into some kind of Sony vs Microsoft because of a purchase is just plain stupid imo.
Personally as Sony fan and gamer with multiple systems this deal doesn't end my world as it isn't that big of a deal if MS felt they needed this deal to bolster their dev family good for them.
Personally I would have rather see them create some studios who could come up with creative IPs. Also if Notch wanted out good for him too.
It's today's gaming media and the haters who just follow along right behind them. A close friend of mine has no interest in this game and even he can tell that the gameplay is solid and it looks fun to play. He even said the reviews of 6s is a complete and utter joke.
I agree with everything you said here because that's what I've been doing since the games release lol. Me and my friends are enjoying the hell out of this game, and aren't about to let haters ruin our enjoyment.
For me its solid 8-9 experience from the time of launch on Tuesday I put in crazy hours playing this with friends, and we didn't care that we had to play multiple missions over and over they were just so much fun to play and that's all that matters imo.
If you didn't like the game much that's good for you, but don't try drown out the people who really enjoy it with all your negativity.
