true its only smart that 3rd party devs support all systems, but in the case of the Metal Gear Solid series i don't think it would matter if its on both take a look at Metal Gear Rising
on PS3 its sitting at just under 900k
on 360 its barely over 200k
the game is basically dead on 360, and i have the crazy feeling that when the next MGS games release it wont sell much on microsoft system.
well i don't pay for Live so this issue that has happened i pretty much don't care about.
only people who pay for something thats free like giving away money.
@oh Yeah
yup that $60 i save by not paying for online that i already pay for is going towards new games, or something else i can buy.
my 360 just sits under my tv barely being used, its the reason i decided not to purchase their new console.
Jade Empire was my favorite game on it followed by KOTOR 1, and the Splinter Cell games.
sony please keep the casual nonsense to a minimum and focus on the core gaming.
personally out of both systems that i've owned i loved my original xbox more than my 360.
@doctor
yes hardware lol, but i don't buy software either i usually just use whatever pc/laptop come with until i purchase a new upgraded model lol
i'm curious i would like to know from those that disagreed to explain to me why.
Them having money isn't going to make me buy the system or games i have no interest in.
for me Microsoft has always lacked the variety i look for in my games, and as it stands the only exclusives i actually cared for was Gears and Alan Wake. these two games alone aren't enough to spend hundreds of $$$$$$$$ on.
i'm keeping my PS3 so i won't have an issue of no B/C, plus i'd rather a reasonable priced system this time around.
personally i have no intention of purchasing the new console as the 360 will be the last product i buy from microsoft, but from what i can gather from the comments here if this site is going to allow negative rumor articles its only fair that they allow positive rumor articles too.
actually i have a few friends who have hacked 360's and can play online.
@dungeon
i have a PS3 slim, and i plan on getting PS4 day one this year. holy crap the games im getting for both systems this year
PS3
The Last of Us
The Puppeteer
Beyond Two Souls
PS4
Killzone SF
Knack
Infamous Second Son
Drive Club
damn they're gonna bleed my dry lol
@ green
my mother always said if you don't have anything nice to say about someone then don't say it, but its really hard not to say something about you.
i think you have some kind of mental disorder or something because i've never seen anyone such as yourself spew so much crap on a daily basis.
since mainstream=casual crowd i dont think i care what they think all i know always online is stupid since this country (USA) doesnt have...
i don't know why some people are taking this seriously i think its only fair we are seeing articles like this about M$, since we've seen these everyday since the PS3 launched and are now seeing it for the Wii U.
turn about is fair play in my book i wanna see more articles like this about M$ it would make for most interesting read comments wise on here lol.
Only you green could make a foolish statement like this, and the people who agreed with you are foolish also lol.
anyways its cool that the des will have more to work with and that its easier to do. i don't want to hear any crappy excuses if they don't get it their all.
If i don't care about their next after after barely using my 360 this generation why would i, or anyone else would be scared of their new system?
frankly i could give a good goddamn about the new xbox the company rolls out the same 3-4 exclusives, and charges for something that's free everywhere else in the world.
yea im scared of their new system much that i can't get on with my everyday life lol. ill be saving money by not purchasing 720 or wha...
meh i've already made up my mind not to purchase this system. the PS4 and Wii U will take care of my gaming needs for the next gen.
i will however keep my 360, and just gamefly some games that i missed.
i gotta agree with you here i only have a few copies of PS1, PS2 games around so i really never used the B/C in my 60 gig phat model much.
once they took it out i actually never got it a second that as i was looking forward to more PS3 titles.
to me its not that huge a deal breaker and i still have my PS3 slim so i'll just use that if i wanna go back and play some games.
what that more expensive premium model was $600 like the PS3 would you buy it?
this is question is for everyone here.
i don't have a problem keeping my PS3, so the PS4 not having B/C is not a problem for me.
when i had the 60gig phat i barely played any of my PS1, PS2 games.
i have a question for most here if Sony were to add in the B/C by shoehorning in the PS3 into the PS4 are you willing to pay $600/700 for the system again?
i know i'm not, and that's why i plan on keeping my PS3. i have no problems moving it over and sticking the PS4 right next to it, and using that little invention called the TV remote to change the video source on my plasma to play both systems when i want to.
i will not sit here and cry, whine, b*t...
