They think a new IP is a wrong and at the same time they dont think releasing 10000 episodes of the same IP is the wrong thing to do ? Bunch of idiots
Releasing a new IP in the end of a console cycle will first profit from the confortable install base of a machine and in case that game works it will be very wished for at the next gen consoles. Could be a solid launch title for example.

Fear Effect is amazing but it's 4 discs. Is it possible to smooth the pixels a little bit on Vita while playing PSone classics ? and are they playable on full screen ?
I agree with you but I dont think Wii U will be a threat to PS3 and it will for sure be priced higher than PS3. On top of that if Wi U is releasing this year it's about time they announce the price no? TGS would be the right place to communicate to japanese.
I am hoping for some HD collection from jap developers. Dragon Quest VIII HD and Dark Chronicles HD from Level 5 and i will wet my pants :D

@NobodyImportant : Very stupid post... PS3 still has bright days to come, big blockbusters are on the way and Vita interactivity as well. PS3 is great value for the money and they are going to announce a cheaper model soon to reach the families and casual gamers.

I think it's too early to talk about gameplay. I don't really like the thing with the helicopter i dont find that realistic at all. He puts a flare the helicopter comes right away nobody notices anything while the game is a tactical espionnage game.
On PSP it was ok it's not that realistic anyway but in this one i dont think they did that right. Open world will for sure have some bad things in it.
FIFA menus have always been s***. Worst menus i have ever seen for the 3 last FIFA games. They are ugly, they lag and freeze.

Just to realize Jap games aren't fit for 360 look at the jap publishers who release their RPGs and more exclusively on PS3 and Nintendo machines even in the west. And 360 is not fit for Jap games just look at the sales of 360 in Japan.

sadly enough i dont think a true sequel that will do the series justice will come at any time cause SE are "casualizing" all their games and we saw that with 3rd Birthday. Gorgeous graphics but too easy, no challenge no true overdrive system and pure action no RPG aspects no puzzles... I remember a friend of mine bought PE2 in Japanese cause we were soooo eager to put our hands on it and WE LOVED getting stuck cause we dont speak a work jap LOL..
