Titanfall is coming to 360 and PC and rumors say 360 and X1 are similar.
Titanfall isn't a system seller but as long as the game is fun it's the most important.
in 2-3 years games will require much more raw power and X1 games will be 480p.

U3 was released in 2011. They started with the new one right away while their second team was hard at work on TLoU.
They back each other up short time before release to get things done on time but U4 has technically been in development since 2011 early 2012.

keep also in mind that xbox is far from being a profitable business and they are losing huge amounts of money on it. I really don't think MS will increase xbox division budget for next year just to cut the price especially with the shut off rumors.
price cut is out of the question atm and dropping Kinect would be a sign of massive failure.
