what does sony brand have to do with fanbase? you buy your console you play it for yourself!
PlayStation have a monstrous fanbase, and that fanbase includes all kinds of people.
yeah whatever!! lots of PC users at that time and Nintendo fanboys were bashing PS2 library, but must have been a teens thing cause when you grow up you see things differently.
But for my sake i have been a huge Sony brand fan, my love started with a 26cm Trinitron TV in my room for the first time i was so excited to get a TV in my room that when i first got that one it's like the brand that did it :D
then my parents bought a Sony hi-fi beginning or mid-90's a...
PS4 was made by developers for developers which will benefit to the consumer in the long term.

at the same time i think it's because of him and RE4 that RE franchise died.
He destroyed all Survival Horror fundamentals in RE with that game, i felt like it's the ennemies who were surviving Leon's heavy weapons and not the other way around.
I remember being very stressed with 2 bullets in my gun and when i could only carry 6 things. that was true survival!
some might disagree but i hope you guys explain to me why :)
in my case Zelda is the only Nintendo system seller. I will buy a Wii U bundle with the new Zelda Wii U.
But i have to admit that Mario Kart and X look definitely cool and i might get a Wii U when those two come out.

Wii U sold 875% more consoles on may 21st, and it's for a reason.
Nintendo showed some cool stuff at E3 direct, and Sony obviously went consumer friendly and pulled off some quality titles as well. PS4 is a definite buy but Wii U starts to be interesting to me as well.

i wasn't very aware of what happened at the PS2 launch really cause i didnt have internet at that time and it wasnt developed like today. but now i can see how things are and i can also participate in PS4 launch awesomeness
