GTA4 received global praise and it was boring as hell to me, so i kind of agreed on some of the lower scores. With that said 3.5 isnt a low score, its just not what you want it to be.
Revisions from a corporate gaming perspective are suppose to minimize hardware costs and make systems more accessible to mass market without hurting integrity of hardware and sometimes making hardware more reliable so i dont know what your going on about. I definitely agree, as long as it isnt game breaking. A good example is Dark Souls, it had few frame rate oroblems here and there but it was so awesome I didnt care.

This game plys and looks great. It is a handheld marvel. I must have taken a 100 screenshots while plying lol I couldnt believe it.
First party Sony games will set the visual benchmarks like thy did last gen due to the ps4 being superior to xbone by a good margin, however expect most third parties to gimp multiplats due to pressure by microsoft and bcus thy will be developing towards the least common denomintor bcus its cheaper and will allow parity through consoles. It is a big worry for ys gamers but thts just how game politics go.

Thats your opinion, but graphically kz sf and def. Infamous look way better imo. Just bcus the protaganist is hogging up all the polygons and assets doesnt make it look better thnnanything. You have to taje into account what else its doing visually in terms of npcs, linearity or open world, performance, etccc and kz and infamoys seem to have it beat. Not a big feat when obviously other attention to detail suffers and gameplay takes a bashing. Any other dev. Can do the same exact thing if thy put most of thier assets into giving main character polygon counts but what would tht achieve? Short cuts elsewhere. It would be a big feat if everything frm framerate, to npcs, to gameplay didnt suffer so much but we all have heard how linear and boring this game is and of the framerate issues.
