Sure did. The only problem with the Wireless connection stuff is that the Wii U has problems with routers that are 3+ years older. It's not a problem for me with my new wireless N+ last year, but I know many have problems with the older routers.
IT should be noted this is just their opinion, and several other opinions have gone in the other direction.
Reasons for Wii U
1. Better overall community online. No 12 year old wankers.
2. Achievements that what, tell you that you killed this and did that. I don't need a trophy to tell me I "played a game". Progress and completition of the campaign should be it's own reward. Also, it's Activisions fault if their aren't achievements, not Nintendos. They are optional.

The praise Nintendo receives is mostly from the non-gaming medium. CNN, MSNBC, FoxNews, etc. Those outlets sing Nintendo's praise. Meanwhile, GameTrailers, Kotaku, and many others say a lot of negative things. Remember, this isn't always the writers themselves... but the fan base responses to what the writers say.

Well, it's not like Dead Rising is a very deep game to begin with. Boob-teasing doesn't really seem to be below it.
To clarify: you will find that "half-asked" is the correct or more formal term. "Half-assed" is the slang or more commonly used form of the term, however it is not proper.

To be fair, TWW's entire story was leaked before the game came out, by the same folks over at 2chan. So laugh away, but they have leaked many, and do mean many, top tier gaming information in the past. I am not saying this stuff is true, the site itself even says to take it with a grain of salt, but it isn't impossible.
Guys, in case you didn't check the specs, the wii is slightly more powerful then the original xbox. Sure, it doesn't have "hd", but thats merely a resolution, not a major gameplay ploy. Remember RE 4 on the GCN? Fantastic.

It's not 7 year old hardware. It doesn't ahve blu-ray, it has proprietary discs, which hold the same capacity as blu-ray (50gb dual layered). It doesn't have harddrive, it has flash memory with a purposeful push for consumers to get external drives. It cut out the $100 HD price attached to most consoles.
