Both models are actually in stock. So the article is incorrect and misleading. We have the Nintendo Switch and the Nintendo Switch Lite. Those are the two models. The Original is the first model of the Switch that came out. The New/Replacement model is not the original.

The CPU jump is 4-5 times more powerful. The GPU jump, similarly, will be higher as well as the new architecture is much more efficient.
