YouExactly, people seem to forget that Spider-Man2 had some of the same combat style.

The game will be downgraded anyway with missing puddles. It will never live up to its E3 showing after all Insomniac Games are not very skilled at making original combat and steal things from other games like how Spider-Man combat is a rip off of Batman Arkham. Fuse was crappy, Sunset Overdrive was seemingly crappy since no one really supported the game and no sequel in sight. BUT, Insomniac Games themselves are not crappy, if they were people wouldn't be wanting to see their game on Youtube if they can't play it themselves. If they were crappy people on ALL consoles wouldn't be ready for the remaster/remake of the original Spyro games. If they were crappy then Ratchet and Clank would not be the successful series it has become .

I wonder if many of those who are saying if you don't want the ending of the game spoiled for you then don't click on or search for the video, are Xbox only owners. They are more likely the ones wanting to see the games ending since it's not available on their platform of choice.
I don't know if this is still the case, but back in the 70s and 80s when I read comics, Spider-Mans webs were eco friendly. They would desolve on their own after an hour or two. If not then there would be hundreds of thousands if not millions of strands of webbing all over the city attached to buildings and lamp posts.

Also in the game does Silver Sable ever use her throwing chi, if that's the name of them, little things that looked like three pronged combs. Last time I read a comic with her in it or a comic in general was 1990, so my memory is not accurate, but I do remember them being on her belt.

Overall it is still an outstanding game, but some things were not included that I would have personally like to have seen.

I'm still going through my first play through, so far, still only ricking my first costume. When i finish the game and master my swinging and full combat skill set then I will start using photo mode. I want to be the best Spider I can when I start appearing on front page of the magazines and newspapers.
Bats doesn't have a super jump like Spidey. The only thing that makes this game anywhere close to Arkham would be the gadgets.

@Coolbeans, well of course combat in a third person perspective. Also in the fact that in Spiderman2 you also had a dodge warning and dodge/evade button, which Batman copied. You fought people in groups the same may strike and counter jumping from one enemy to the next. You could also stealth attack people.
