So where is Andrew now, is he still with the company. Did he get a promotion or still a bottom rung employee. Was there a pay bump for Andrew, or any kind of compensation besides “good job, Andrew.”?
True, Activision owns the publishing rights. Now can From make another Seriko without Activision since they own the publishing rights?
Far as I understand that the same thing with Insomiac with Sunset Overdrive, Insomiac owns the rights, but Xbox owns the publishing rights. Making it damn near impossible for there to be a sequel, because that would depend on Sony, MS, and possibly Insomniac hammering out a deal that I don’t see Sony agreeing.
Go ahead Sony acquire Kodukawa and get your anime house in order.
As far as games, From Software does not publish their own games so this is no where like MS getting big publishers. But if Sony does acquire them then for sure there will never be another Sekiro as Activision owns the rights to that game. There will never be another Dark Souls game, I’m cool with that. The likelihood of a Bloodborne and Demons Souls sequels, which would PS exclusive, possibly coming later to...
I’ve been planning to pull out my PS3 and replay Killzone2&3, and a few other games. I wouldn’t lmind playing them on the Portal if possible,
Cool
I will pick this up day one, haven’t played an alien game since PS3s Alien vs Predator.
Imagine if Sony actually buys From Software and their parent company, supposedly they are worth $3.5 billion dollars, same price Sony paid for Bungie.
“ A major part of Death Stranding Director’s Cut’s success on the Xbox Store is the massive 50% off sale, allowing both new and old players to grab the game on the platform.”
With that much of a price reduction it would be a real shame if it didn’t sell well.
I’m cool with the games story as it is, I don’t feel there any need for DLC just to milk us of more money. Not every game need DLC, expansion, or sequel, let some games just be a fully self contained story:
Have this sitting in my library thanks to Plus, but I haven’t tried the game yet.
If there would have been a PSVR2 version then I would have more likely given it a go. As it is it may stay buried in my backlog a bit longer.
Decent score, not a Lego games fan so I don’t o t be picking this up. May give it a chance when it comes to Plus.
Was just thinking the same thing, just use your phone and a Backbone. Why waste money on a dedicated portable when a backbone would allow you to play any game from any platform.
Again, never said they were in competition, and why can they not be comparable? Both high end headsets for their own corner of the vr market, yet both were praised for the tech inside but at the same time condemned for the price tag attached. Both had initial strong sales, but then tapered off with both having inventory sitting in warehouses. Only one so far has decided to broaden its horizon to help sustain the life of the product, while the other just seemingly closed up shop.
My point is that at least Sony is still continuing to try to improve the position of PSVR2.
Apple I said it was overpriced and geared of a particular set of people, so yes I know not really the same people. Apple gave up, Sonys still trying.
At least Sony is still working with PSVR2 and putting out new games for it, also bringing the headset to PC should help to keep it alive.
Apple already discontinued their Apple Vision Pro with the unit sell half a million when first released but then sales fell off a $3000 cliff. Now they have like another half million just sitting around in their wearhouse.

Curtis Blow?
I’ll be getting mine when/if my PS5 breaks somehow, like accident having a 20 pound weight fall on it from a great height or some other weird phenomenon.
I’m really on the fence about this game, because I never really got into the Metro games when I tried to play them and quit halfway. But on the other hand I like the idea of having a full game in vr and want vr to grow as a medium so I want to support it by buying the game.
I will likely just wait for a sale, but don’t expect one for a while.
I tend to fake walk when playing in vr on my PSVR2 or Quest2. I found that lifting your feel like if you’re actually walking helps with the motion sickness, because for me if I don’t do that then I feel like I’m just being pulled along as though I can’t control my own body. Like in a horror movie when the person is suddenly pulled forward to the ghost or whatever.
I’m willing to bet that’s actually not too far from the actual truth.
