No one is forcing you to buy a PS5, if you don't see the value in one yet, don't get it. There are benefits to buying one now (better fidelity / performance), and some games purely for it already (R&C, DS, Returnal) but I am sure most people know it's not going to truly kick off for a year or 2, which happens every generation jump.

So much entitlement. Santa Monica Studio are going to give us another awesome game and people still cry over a non issue. All of a sudden if a game doesn't have super thick foliage and RTX its bad? Same nonsense argument comes around every generation leap.
Entitlement is ripe around here at the moment.
No one will care about this issue when it comes out and it's still a 9/10 or 10/10 game. Same with Horizon
This happens every new console generation, why do people act surprised every time?
There is always a 1-2 year transition period of cross gen games because surprise surprise game devs want to reach the larger market and they know the games can be scaled to work on both. Also development would have started a few years prior to the current gen console release so would've began with the PS4 in mind.

I think Valhalla is pretty awesome, and I have felt very meh about every AC game since Black Flag. The Watch dog games are mediocre though.

Cheers mate managed to pick one up in-store at Argos. Was only 6 left when I left but funnily enough I told my mate they had them, he went back the next day and managed to get the last one. Seems like in-store drops don't fly off the shelves as quick as you'd think.
Managed to get a PS5(UK) on wednesday, picked up Spiderman and AC:Valhalla 2nd hand from CEX. Wonder if their sales go towards this.
Don't know why you're being downvoted. Pretty sure the only people who'd enjoy this are creepy guys who haven't seen sunlight in 4 years or horny teenagers.
As someone who has no intention of getting an XSX, that is a pretty good list of games. I'd be surprised if at least one of Starfield or ES6 doesn't end up on PS5 though.
Regardless, having a PS5 and a decent PC is the way to go.

Judging by the comments no one here actually read the article. The OP gave up gaming for 10 years then ended up regretting it later on after going back to them.

No I didn't play it. I waited for the reviews and saw they were bad so didn't bother. This is also why its tiresome seeing articles about it all the time - its been out for almost a month and a half now. Time to move on..

I feel like these late reviews are just on the hate wagon from the start. This reviewer seems to spend more time talking about GTA/Skyrim/Blade runner than CB2077. There is literally no mention of combat or driving whatsoever here other than saying he used the mantis blades the whole game and that he didn't like the minimap.

If you don't like open world games then don't play them.
Seems it never occurred to the OP that people enjoy the downtime in open world games where you can relax and enjoy the world. I find it more boring when there is non stop action around every corner, which he seems to want.
There are different game genre's for a reason - players like different things.
Meanwhile Sony don't talk about doing great things. They just do it.
