If you can buy better guns and health in the game it's a pay2win game. End of story.

It's ruined by pay2win. It feels like you are playing against cheaters. SP is only couple hours so the game is way too expensive for that.
Then nobody would not buy those crates. It would have been okay if they just kept some characters and skins behind crates, but better guns and health generators are too much. Pay2Win sucks overall. Overwatch approach is the right approach. Let the nerds buy nice dress for their game waifu to keep the game alive for years.

Yeah, i agree. Overwatch lootboxes are just for skins, emotes etc. Not affecting gameplay. You don't have to buy them to be better in the game and the money from loot boxes keep the game alive for years. If there would not be lootboxes there would be dlc or monthly subscription, even both like in wow.

Rainbow six did it right? Rainbow six siege is fk*ng death. Overwatch get tons of maps, characters and support for free because some nerds want to buy beautiful dresses to their overwatch waifu. That's awesome. If you look world of warcraft it's complete opposite. Monthly subscription plus you have to pay for dlc and gold etc..... Battlefront is completely different deal. If you can buy guns, boosts and health for the game, it's p2w. Simple.
