If Xbox One sales continue to slowdown while the PS4 continues to take off, then it's a huge cause for concern. Right now you shouldn't be worried unless you care about marketshare and can't stand to see the PS4 getting the majority of it
I can't believe it's been a year since the PS4 was revealed, it really has become such an amazing success so quickly
"PS4 Sales Hit 5.3 Million Ahead Of Japan Launch,"
And also ahead of the inFamous: Second Son launch. Lots of people are waiting to get the PS4 for that game
The article writer is clearly sore over the PS4's success. If you are this disrupted by a console doing well while the console you like isn't, you need to get out more
Damn all these resolution gates are seriously going to effect the longterm success of the Xbox One.
I have both a PS4 and Xbox One, but the reason why I love the PS4 is for three reasons
1. Better visuals and performance for multiplats
2. The DualShock 4 is amazingly comfortable and my favorite controller yet
3. Great interface with quick installs and downloads
Those are the reasons why I think people are picking up the PlayStation 4 over the Xbox One
Dude, Twisted Metal PS4 really needs to happen. The one minor complaint that I had with Twisted Metal PS3 was all the button input commands it has, even using the D-pad for some weapon firing. That would be completely remedied on the PS4 thanks to the touchpad on the DualShock 4
I have to admit, this has me very excited. I wonder if it's a new IP or Sony is trusting them to handle one of their IPs like Twisted Metal or The Getaway
Prepare to witness what the PS4's power is really capable of
Just wait till inFamous: Second Son launches, PS4 sales will get even crazier around then in the USA
I don't think you understand what's going on. Microsoft is spending hundreds of millions of dollars to promote the Xbox One, the rate it's selling at is thanks to aggressive and nearly nonstop advertising.
The PS4 on the other hand is still selling out because of word of mouth and the console's natural appeal. Sony haven't really been pushing the PS4 heavily since the holidays and it's crushing the Xbox One each week
Investors want MS ...
I'd be pissing in my pants if I were Microsoft and didn't have Halo 5 ready for this holiday season. The PS4 is selling fantastically and is sure to be the hottest console once again this year, especially with games like The Order ready to release then.
The fact is, MS needs Halo 5 this year and I don't know how the Xbox One is going to do without it
I'll be getting inFAMOUS: Second Son next month followed by Watch_Dogs in May/June and hopefully DriveClub will be out by then too. Those games should keep me very busy till the end of August when The Evil Within releases, and then after we get to see all the releases Sony has for the PS4's holiday season.
I'd say the first year of the PS4 is full of awesome releases
Better than waiting till this Fall to play it, I was worried they'd aim for a release date close to Halloween
Getting it day one though, I'll be playing the hell out of it on my PS4
Microsoft is spending hundreds of millions to try and get the Xbox One to keep up with and compete with the PS4, but all Sony does is send whatever units they can to retailers as they struggle to meet the insane demand for the PS4.
Wait till Sony starts promoting the PS4 again as we get a little further into the year
It definitely matters. The PS4 is scarcely available and pretty much selling itself, while the Xbox One is being promoted heavily with a plethora of advertisements and not selling nearly as well as the PS4
I'll wait the extra month to experience the next gen MLB glory then
With the way Microsoft has been kissing his butt for the last few years, his comments (although honest) are a pretty big slap in the face.
The city looks fantastic at night in the footage I saw today, my God I cant wait to play it already
I absolutely hate when publishers let beloved series collect dust and do nothing with the IP.
