Um LBP is over 3 years old and LP2 is not even one year old, and it's already accumulated almost half the sales the first game has sold to date.
Also LBP released in the Holiday season of 2008, LBP2 released in January of 2011 when the majority of consumers are less likely to make new purchases. There are a lot of factors to consider.
All in all LBP2 is still selling great and it'll be just as successful if not more than the first game at this rate
This article makes no sense. If anything, the exact same launch titles that Japan had will do far better in the US because Uncharted and most of the other western series are bigger here than in Japan

LBP2 is great enough as it is and makes an LBP3 not needed until next gen. And there will be another LBP on the next PlayStation coles, it's one of Sony's money maker series
And LBP2 is selling really well, it hasnt even been out for a year and it's already sold 2.2 million copies
Yeah, people need to relax, the Vita has a lot of good games releasing the coming months which will continue to drive sales.
Also the PS Vita is a trojan horse with the PlayStation Store with it getting digital sales of full retail Vita games, PSP games, PSN games, and upcoming DLC. So it'll make Sony a lot of money in the long run
Killzone 3 is the best Killzone IMO. From how all the classes are a blast to play and how the campaign was WAY more diverse and interesting than KZ2's. And the brutal melee kills are just awesome
Not to say Killzone 2 isn't great either, but Killzone 3 is just my favorite

The only PS3 exclusives that have struggled in recent years are SOCOM 4 and MotorStorm: Apocalypse (Which were both released in the middle of the PSN hack which could have affected it's sales). Maybe Resistance 3 but even that game is about to hit the 1 million copies sold mark. Everything else has sold well.
