Thats a dumb thing for Pachter to say. Sure, there wont be a casual gamer boom like the Wii brought but there will be a portion of them returning just because of the hype of a big release of a new console (which is a new piece of tech)

If casual gamers bought tons of software, Nintendo would not feel bad in the slightest for neglecting hardcore gamers.
The thing is that they dont, hardcore gamers are the people that make console makers money. That is the only reason Nintendo cares about hardcore gamers again, they realized casuals dont keep making money for them

I wouldnt call any game designer the greatest one ever since all of them pretty much do their own thing and are great in different ways.

If Prototype 2 was the highest selling game then software sales all around must have been VERY low. For one thing thats only six days of sales for P2 and there was a general low level of hype for the game

I guess Capcom were inspired by Kingdom Heart 3D's "Dream Drop Distance" title
And it still has an amazing multiplayer, the campaign is what drags it down but the online and co-op is worth it alone.
