It definitely is lackluster, TWEWY was critically acclaimed and held in a very high regard with most gamers to the point where the word of mouth about how good the game is spread like wildfire. 650k is rather low sales, Demon's Souls for example has sold close to 2 million copies with just word of mouth and impressive reviews which are about the sales I expected TWEWY by now
It's a shame that TWEWY had lackluster sales, it deserved many more. Hopefully Kingdom Hearts makes this series more popular outside of Japan and the next game gets good sales

Are you kidding? That game in the photo is made by Media Molecule, one of the best developers out there. I expect Tearaway to do for the PS Vita what LBP did for PS3. Hell if Sony was smart they'd try to make Iota the mascot of the PS Vita with how charming the design is.
And I think LBP PS Vita, Assassin's Creed III: Liberation, Call of Duty Black Ops, Persona 4 Golden, and PlayStation All-Stars (especially with cross buy) will move Vitas since they all release this ...
Was it really necessary to write this article? It sounds like a whole lot of reassurance from an Xbox fan's perspective. Especially downplaying it saying PlayStation won by default, when they would have had a fantastic showing even if MS or Nintendo tried to compete with them

Ah so thats why Sony Japan Studios is kicking so much ass lately. I noticed this as soon as I played Gravity Rush, which I bet Allen Becker played a big role in. Allen Becker being in charge is a fantastic move and is really paying off, Puppeteer and Rain both look amazing. Especially Puppeteer which my hype for is through the roof right now.
Something also tells me that Kenji Inafune working with Sony Japan Studios for Soul Sacrifice is also thanks to this guy

They probably werent very far along at all and no big losses, as you can see a game like Puppeteer wast even stopped and The Last Guardian is still being developed
It makes sense as we are heading towards the very end of this gen
It really has the old-school gaming magic and charm, I cant wait to get Puppeteer
Im sure Sony didnt want to close them down, but lets face it WipEout's latest entries werent exactly big sellers. And that series wasnt exactly easy to pick up and play, something gamers this gen seem unable to tolerate and adjust to.
