Sounds like its still a long while off...
I feel bad for EU Sly fans, but all if us fans have waited so long for a Sly 4 that another month shouldnt be that bad. We should just be thankful we are getting Sly Cooper: Thieve in Time not too long from now
Sly looks like he walked in on Murray getting out of te shower before he could grab a towel.
On a side note, I find it funny that the Xbox app will be effectively advertising Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time and the PS3 by showing it on the 360
In the comments section they said they had help from Sucker Punch since The Sly Collection and they gave them a lot of feedback for Sly 4 so it's no wonder why they have nailed and even improved the formula
"But the development team did some soul-searching and decided to re-create Fuse’s tone as a serious game with intense, mature combat, akin to the fierce battles in Gears of War."
Translation: Insomniac sold the soul of the game in the hopes they could recreate the expected sales estimates to be on par with Gears of War.
I want to see characters teaming up as well as new rivalries, villain characters working under Polygon Man, cross-over alternate costumes like Cole dressed as Sly and Drake dressed as Jak.
PlayStation All-Stars was clearly all about cementing the gameplay and I have no doubt they'll go all out with the sequel
So excited to play this, trailer got me pumped
Sly Cooper Thieves in Time is not a reboot, it's Sly 4. The article writer should have researched that
@ SoundGamer
The sequel is probably for the next PlayStation, it makes perfect sense to start developing it now to start learning the new hardware
No way. The smartest thing that Sony has done this gen is build up an army of successful first party series like Uncharted, LittleBigPlanet, inFamous, God of War, Killzone, Sly Cooper, Gran Turismo, etc. that not only is the reason why they were able to make the PS3 successful but also is why people are looking forward to the next PlayStation when this gen every third party developer wants to develop on every platform.
We all know third party exclusives are a thing of the pas...
You cleary never held a DualShock 3, that thing doesnt even have analog sticks. It looks like a knock-off of an early PS1 controller
I guess he could say life's a little sweetah with the PlayStation Vita
Yeah, I noticed that too. Usually the 360 gains a very large lead pretty much undoing the sales lead the PS3 gets from all the months prior in the year but this year it's tooth and nail.
Jack Tretton said though that he is more excited for Q1 2013 than he is for the PS3's 2012 holiday with games like God of War: Ascension, Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time, and Ni No Kuni. Then The Last of Us releases on May 7th so it'll be a very strong year for PS3 starting as soon as...
Solid start for Wii U but Vita had a similar opening and trudged along in sales soon after it launched, Im hoping that doesnt happen with Wii U though
The graphics look amazing
Cool stuff, I love the world of Gravity Rush and cant wait to see it as a PlayStation All-Stars stage. Hopefully it'll be mashed up with Starhawk
Damn, those games are a steal for $20
Like I said it could or could not be a sign, it's best to just wait for E3 and see what happens. If anything the only anomaly is The Last of Us releasing in May because while it seems so many big PS3 games are releasing before E3 2013 we have to remember Sly 4 was delayed to next year and should have released this year, God of War always releases in March, and there are PS3 exclusives like Beyond, Puppeteer and Im betting Until Dawn too planned for the holiday line-up of 2013.
I dont know, I mean Beyond: Two Souls will be releasing Late 2013. Sony confirmed the game build is still in the Alpha stage so it'd be unrealistic to expect it to be ready anywhere in the first half of 2013. As well as Puppeteer Im assuming, so they have a holiday line-up for PS3 already in 2013.
While I think The Last of Us *could* be an indication of the next PlayStation arriving next year, it could also be that the game is just ready by then and they dont want it to g...
PS3 and 360 are so close this holiday season, great job Sony
