I agree. It's a HUGE missed opportunity.
This really should have come to pcvr and psvr2 as well
I hope square also adds visual enhancements to the graphics mode. I'd love at the very least see better draw distance with less pop-in with the plants, shrubs (it's not bad but could be improved) and enhanced textures and lighting. Added ray tracing to both ff7 rebirth and ff7 remake integrade would be awesome (if not on the pro then on the ps6) this is one game I wouldn't mind seeing visual enhancements to over the years. The game as it is is incredibly beautiful in my opinion. ...
Id also really love to see a VR update to Resident Evil 2.
Take my money!!!! 💰
For those who are new to PSVR2, I HIGHLY recommend PAVLOV VR! it's some of the most fun I've had in a game in years. Like the Goldeneye 64 of VR
This game is a beautiful love letter to fans of the original game. If the biggest complaint fans have is "too many mini games" (almost all of which are optional btw) then square did good. The most complaints i see is that the game is coming in 3 parts. Which was actually the best thing square could have done. This game is far too big to have been squeezed into one game. And this second part would not have been technically possible on the PS4. Spreading this game across three install...
If ever there was a wet blanket in the room, this is it...
I'd really like to see a full next gen update. Improved HDR, lighting and textures, and some other next gen bells and whistles. The game is incredible and absolutely deserves the upgrade.
Yeah exactly
I see the industry is once again trying to bash VR. I honestly think most game companies don't want to have to cater to VR and are doing whatever they can to bury it. Which is a shame because when done right, VR games are absolutely amazing. Half Life Alyx being one of the most obvious examples. But too many people are trying to see it fail. Most of the big companies don't want to spend the extra energy on it. It's much easier to just churn out yet another call of duty that they k...
Clearly you haven't played the game
I agree
To the people saying this should have been released as one game, it would not have been possible for it to come out in one game with the same amount of content. Substantial cuts would have been made both visually and in terms of story and content. Releasing this as multiple games allowed square to not be forced to make Substantial cuts. Keep in mind this was releasing to the ps4 originally and even on there, just the midgar section alone was pushing that console to its limit. Spreading it acr...
I think eventually another RPG will come
Ouch....
Yes! I hope they bring Doom 3 to PSVR2. I was happy to see it on PSVR but couldn't help but feel like they should have held off for the PSVR2 for that game. They had to substantially cut the visuals on that. I feel like a psvr2 version would be able to do it better justice. I've asked the company that made the psvr port if there was any plans to make a psvr2 version, they said no but that if they were asked by Sony to do it they would. I also would love to see Star Wars Squadrons get ...
I LOVE the VR updates for the Resident Evil games, but I do think Sony needs to do a better job bringing more AAA games to this, as well as some apps (like BigScreen). Half Life Alyx needs to happen for PSVR2 and I'm shocked it still hasn't been announced. I know they are bringing pcvr support but I really think they need to bring the game to console optimized to run well on the hardware. One game that has been honestly made the psvr2 worth it to me is PAVLOV. THAT game has me fully a...
Whaaaaat???? The 90s were awesome!!!
