It needs games, more 1st party, as its clear its not going to get the support of 3rd party especially moving into the next gen later on in the year.
Also the games can't still be £50 after a year from launch, mental prices.

Well if it can compete with PS5, it needs to match up with things like this. Sony confirmed 3d audio ages ago and it's always hardware enabled, hence the optical port. Anything with an optical port requires a dedicated audio chip.

You will on PS5 exclusives but probably won't on Xbox and 3rd party exclusives. Simply because the Xbox division want to release multiple consoles and still have future content compatible with the Jaguar CPU.
1. MGS3 - Everything aspect was refined (characters and 1st person aim for instance)
2. MGS2 - Amazing visuals and gameplay (everyone remembers that E3 trailer...GOAT)
3. MGS1 - Pioneering stealth gameplay and unique boss battles (breaking the 4th wall with Mantis etc)
4. MGS4 - Proper MGO, unique experience from the likes of COD etc (MGS3 MGO paved the way for MGO2)
5. MGS5 - Great replay-ability due to the sandbox based gameplay (hospital opening chapter...
you an apply that same formula to most sports aswell.

In DICE's eyes, Bad Company 2 was full of toxic masculinity within the campaign. They would have to include some gender fluid soldiers (even though they don't exist)
I blame the muddy water of the start of this Gen for Evolution Studio's Closure. Xbox fans loved to hate on Driveclub as it launched with severe online issues (even though there was plenty of campaign to get through, and those issues were fixed within 2 weeks) and so did the Reviews. Coupled with the fact that people actually believed the the XB1 was a decent console.
I will say though, that SONY should of stepped in to help instead of just binning them off, they basically axed ...
When there are ASSets like that, you need to incorporate more closeup shots during gamplay, missed opportunity.
I'm sorry, but games are a millions miles away from delivering anything emotional currently. Band average acting and voiceover performances coupled with facial captures just renders most characters and scenes flat, compared with film and television. The main thing they never get across is the emotional connection via the eyes, most people just don't connect with virtual characters (unless you're tuggin' one off over some bi-curious Overwatch character)
