Your right everyone here has an ipod for music. I use it for gaming and music. The fact you can do almost anything on it makes it so popular. Plus I cant see someone in high school with a DS.
I love the unlimited features and hardware of a PC. But consoles have 3 things over PC's.
1.Price- Can you run crysis 2 or killzone 2 on a $300 PC.
2.Convience- The ability to put a game in without having to check for system requirements which is a pain for some.
3.Confortability- Maybe or Maybe not, but I found being slouched in a gamer chair with a controller in my hand looking at a tv more confortable than sitting in a hard chair...

The difference is only noticable to people with good eyes for texture or framerate but more and more games are starting to look the same if not better but for the most part 360 does it slightly better thanks to the dauter dye.
Meanwhile I'll be gaming on my xbox and laughing at people who take the console seriously.
Haha wow it's pathetic how everyone here games from last year and so on don't count. I just recently bought mass effect 1&2, rdr, bioshock 2 and some dlc. I've got enough games to play this year including portal and the gears 3 beta I got. That said, if ms relies on mp games it won't matter to me. Haha you guys brag all about the ps3's blu-ray and good graphics but at the end of the day I'll be enjoying my new gta4 dlc, bayonetta, I just bought mass effect 1 & 2 and I'll be kicking ass online in gears. Just enjoy your ps3 cause were all gamers.

The blu-ray will hold them back next generation. It'll be the same god damn problem. Yes, I always wondered what would happend if ms stuck with hd-DVD as well. Also ms doesn't NEED blu-ray. It's a big company Im sure if their going to integrate a bigger disc it will be personally from them.
They didnt cut content from the game due to the 360 in any way possible and only the cut scenes got effected. But yes I loved the game and I never understood why everyone hated it. May cause it's mp.
