GoW will look a LOT better on PC than 360 according to that interview. GoW looks spectacular on 360, and to significantly improve it(RAM, DX10, etc.) should look better than Crysis IMO.
They already have 4 consoles(core, premium, elite, halo), I'd be laughing so hard if they made another one. Seriously, Microsoft needs to have 1 sku and stick with it.
Halo 3 will get all the buzz from the journalists and game reviewers, but to the 125M PS2, and the 5M PS3 owners won't care cause they don't have experience with it. The 130M PS owners will probably be excited about Socom and Ratchet, not Halo, IMO. But dont forget, Microsoft's plan depends on them winning over the 125M PS2 owners.
I downloaded it on the PS Store and it didnt say XBOX 360 on it. Maybe it was the Microsoft version of it, but Im pretty sure the Capcom version should have both XBOX 360 and PLAYSTATION 3 logos on it.
I just hope Microsoft doesnt have exclusive rights for that series. It was so much fun when I played it at my brothers house.
It was supposed to be a PS3 exclusive for soo long and then went multiplatform(DMC), and Lost Planet and Dead Rising could've easily ported couldn't they? Most of the games on the PS3 launch were ports, so why not dead rising or Lost Planet? They were both ready products and they already had the engine for PS3, so it'd be port-able. When DMC4 when multiplatform, Capcom said they wanted the most people do play their games, yet it doesn't apply to their 2 top titles, Lost planet and Dead Rising...
Im surprised Major Nelson doesnt have Capcom or someone on his blog. Capcom favours Microsoft wayy more than Sony(lost planet, dead rising, dmc4, etc.). Either ways the trailer looks great, but was it running on PS3 or 360? I think it was PS3...I could be wrong, though.
Im buying this at launch on November. Luckily for us PS3 owners, not only do we get it sooner, we get user created PC mods adding years of replay value :)

But sadly, Sony set my standards too high with this $600 machine and I simply refuse to buy CRAP. The 360 owners may love it, but games like Resistance and Motorstorm as launch titles set my bar VERY high and to see some crappy port like this makes me spend my $60 elsewhere. Im buying HAZE on launch since it looks awesome and was actually built on PS3, not ported from an inferior console.
What?!? It doesn't really matter how many "set top boxes" you sell. It matters how many discs get sold, how many movies are being watched. Bluray is in fact leading with both. PS3 - That's Bluray's secret weapon. Over 4 million are in people's homes and a bunch of them have HDTV's and love Blu-ray, therefore the amount of bluray disc players in people's home over HD DVD is trouncing, and the amount of discs sold is also crushing HD DVD.

Out of the 32k sold, 30k are going to break within the next 10 days guaranteed. Thats IF they havent already broken, which is unlikely. Sony is chillin, seeing double sales and a 1% failure rate, and MS is seeing horrible sales, and just being ditched by Peter Moore, so he can build games for PS3!! Not to mention that Billy's bank just dropped by $1B because he wanted to be first to market, so he used horrible parts, which resulted in a 33% failure rate!

Maybe if xbox gets bluray, cell, sixaxis, rsx, and another 50M to pay for MGS4 exclusive then maybe timed...BUT oh wait they cant! They already sold 11M 360's which 25% broke! Sony really has a lot of momentum heading into the holiday when we'll see UT3, HAze, Uncharted, Socom, Warhawk, Lair, Heavenly Sword and much more exclusively on PS3. It's going to be interesting to see the NPD numbers for July, and more importantly August, because that'll be the 360's price drop.
