Its EASIER to PORT old or premade code to the 360 as opposed to designing a new code set for the PS3 as the threaded codes or premade codes arent always completely compatible with the PS3's processing structure. When you are accomplishing two of the same tasks on two different systems the edge is gonna go to the system the devs are more familiar with. That makes sense id say.
My friend let me try it on the 360 before I bought for the ps3. When I got it we compared with pip/splitscreen then full each. On the 360 you can see more jaggies as the camera pans on the ferris wheel in the opening movie. In gameplay the two are very very close but the ps3 is just a bit smoother. Other than that no differences. Note: both were running on a sony Wseries 1080p model with hdmi

I'm glad to see people excited about about playstation again. MGS4 owns all titles this year. But my god this year and the next are gonna be incredible. Not only for the above mentioned games but just think of the secret and new IPs that havent been anounced yet. The ones we do know about are awesome already.
